About the role
One role. Four completely different brands. We’re looking for a creative, curious person to help create content across: - MarijuanaSA / MSA Global Trading – specialist grow, hydroponics and lifestyle retail - Medico Herbs – natural wellness, herbs and botanical products - DataNow – finance, AI and automation - Making a Change – environmental and community non-profit work This is not a typical social media role. One day you could be filming a product demo, the next editing a YouTube video, creating a graphic, building an email campaign or capturing a community project. You’ll work directly inside the businesses, with access to the products, staff and stories behind the brands. What you’ll do - Film and edit Reels, TikToks and YouTube content - Create product demos, FAQs and behind-the-scenes content - Design graphics and marketing material in Canva - Help create email campaigns and newsletters - Write captions, hooks and simple marketing copy - Schedule and publish content - Engage with comments and online communities - Help develop new content ideas and campaigns Who we’re looking for You do not need years of experience. We’re happy to train someone with strong creative potential.
Requirements
You should ideally: - Understand Instagram, TikTok and YouTube - Be comfortable filming on a smartphone - Know CapCut or similar editing software - Be comfortable using Canva - Have a good eye for content and design - Be curious and willing to learn very different industries - Take initiative and bring your own ideas - Be based in or near Somerset West Photography, videography, graphic design, email marketing, copywriting or previous social media experience are all bonuses — not requirements. Why this role is different You won’t spend every day creating the same content for the same type of business. You’ll build experience across video, design, social media, email marketing, e-commerce, wellness, technology, retail and non-profit storytelling. For someone early in their creative career, there is a huge amount to learn and make your own.
